Half Moon Bay Day Trip

My friend Ivy and I had a day trip to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel at Half Moon Bay this past Sunday. The weather was not as nice as we expected, but it’s still gorgeous regardless. We then stayed at the hotel for an expensive and not so good dinner. The only good part is the excellent creme brulee and the chocolate cake..and the live music. It was a nice little retreat before I suffered from 3 nights of graveyard shifts.

Baby pictures are not easy to take. They move around a lot and can get very emotional, so that makes taking baby pictures kindda difficult. On the other hand, they will never give you a fake smile or a fake cry. Whatever caught on camera is the true emotions…priceless emotions. The part that I found out about baby photography is the importance of timing. They are in their best moods after feeding and pooping. DO NOT bother them when they need a nap or a meal. DO NOT attempt to take pictures of them after 6 pm unless you want to record cranky babies. DO NOT take pictures of new born for more than 30 minutes and 1 hour for 2-5 years old unless you want them to start crying. There are many rules you need to follow and THAT’S that make baby photography difficult.

But I LOVE taking baby pictures!!! they are just so cute and precious. It’s just amazing how fast they grow especially during the first year. I feel honored to have a chance to record their physical and emotional growth. The feeling is…what can I say..Priceless.

Custom Proof Box

I have finally received my photo proof box after waiting for one month! Honestly I don’t know why it took so long for the manufacturer to make a box but I have to say I’m very happy with the quality. I have ordered the largest size which can hold up to 1200 pictures. For those of the brides to be, I strongly encourage you to order a custom proof box because a good quality one is extremely hard to find, unless you want to settle with the old fashion ugly proof box or if you want to put all of your proofs in divided albums, which can be even pricier and not practical. I’m offering these custom proof boxes to all of my clients for only $100. non-clients will be $150.

It can hold up to 600 pictures on each side

Jane and Xun Pebble Beach Wedding ~ Preview

Can any wedding better than a wedding at the prestigious Pebble Beach? The venue was just pefect, except that we were so afraid that we would be hit by golfballs. The ceremony was nice and short. There were already exchanging rings 5 mins into the ceremony! I also loved Xun’s 30 mins long speech and his declaration of love to Jane, that was just so sweet. and the games were just so fun to watch. I wish Jane and Xun the best!

Package C: $2500 – 8 hours coverage

2) 20 pages elegant Flush mount album 8×10 from Finao One or Zookbinders
3) Online hosting of wedding highlights x 6 months
4) Second photographer

Package D: $3000 – 10 hours coverage
1) All original pictures in high resolution captured during the wedding on DVD
2) 30 pages elegant Flush mount album 11×14 from Finao One or Zookbinders
3) Online hosting of wedding highlights x 6 months
4) Second photographer
5) ** Ownership of wedding highlights in high resolution included!! **

A La Carte
1) Ownership of wedding highlights in high resolution on DVD – $500
2) Elegant image preview proofbox, holds up to 1200 pictures – $100

Engagement Session: $500
1) All original pictures in high resolution catpured during the entire engagement session

Angela and Gregory Wedding ~ Final

Angela did such a fantastic job on her wedding! Not only that she has three dresses that are custom made for her with matching shoes and hair accessories, the decorations for their beautiful house wedding reception was just amazing! I could not believe Angela designed the floral arrangements herself. Everything was just so beautiful!
